An ode to the pure material.
The primary union between two raw elements : wood and diamond. The vegetal associated to the mineral.
Following the japan esthetic shibui, this jewel, although seemingly simple, evokes the depth of the complex - composed - nature of life
​
For this first expression of beauty and purity, Agnes didn't give a central place to the gold, that comes here to highlight the essence of the beauty that emanates from the union of ebony and diamond.

This pendant has also a story. This is the first jewel that the designer has made for herself, to set a diamond given to her by her grandmother. "I didn't want a conventional and static jewel, she says, so I decided to decenter the diamond to transmit my character, my true modernity".
CELESTIAL
Heroes of tales and legends have inspired the shapes of the constellations whose stories have been told endlessly since the dawn of time.
Little queens of our galaxy, bright shards in the night sky, landmarks for desert travelers, fountains of light in regions where no light pollution disturbs them, stars are a wonder of nature.

Celestial is my ode to the luminous guides in the sky which remind us how so much beauty calls for humility, for contemplation.
​
The contrast between ebony, diamonds and gold, main language of Sengaa's aesthetic, resonates here with the universe and its components: the firmaments, the stars, the black holes...
The design of each constellation is searching to catch the depth that our eyes alone cannot reach and which, intriguing, calls us to be inspired by it, allowing us to guess it...

As a designer, I believe you have in your hands the opportunity to reveal beauty through the natural elegance of the materials that the earth offers us.

My jewelry is an eternal quest for beauty.
They try to testify to a simplicity which is revealed through subtle details, imperfect textures, inconstant colors because natural, subtle harmonies which contribute to a balance, a sense of measure.
Always balancing between too light simplicity and too impenetrable complexity.
The materials, contours, textures, tell the ideal of an intuitive, humble and discreet beauty, felt more than seen.

As an expression of my thoughts and perception of what is surrounding me, my jewelry is unique, and speaks to those that will listen to them.
My art tries to change a point of view, to follows new paths.

The very process of designing jewelry is for me, going through a slow contemplation and careful consideration, taking the necessary time to reach the balance that will reveal the simplicity of beauty. This meticulous process ensures that each piece is a unique work of art, embodying timeless beauty and deep emotional resonance.

As these jewels needed time to be created, it takes time to appreciate them and make them become a part of oneself.
